Privacy Policy

JaponiGo processes only the data needed to provide and protect its Japanese-learning service. JaponiGo is published by Maprins Games.
Accounts and sign-in
Google sign-in and Firebase anonymous accounts may be created. We process the account user ID and, when provided, name, email address, and profile photo URL.
Data processed
Learning and SRS progress; purchase identifiers, status, and Premium entitlement; FCM token, language, Firebase/device identifiers, and security signals; feedback title and description; an exact unavailable search query only when that path is enabled; and custom diagnostics for download, sync, and security operations. Microphone audio is captured only after you start a speaking, listening, or pronunciation action; depending on the Android recognition service and device settings, it may be processed in real time outside the device, and JaponiGo does not permanently store raw microphone audio. If you explicitly select a screenshot in an available feedback flow, it may be uploaded to Firebase Storage with your request.
Not collected or used
The current Android app contains no third-party advertising, remote analytics, or remote crash-reporting SDKs. We do not receive payment-card details. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Purposes
Data is used for app functionality, account management, learning personalization and sync, Premium verification, notifications, support, security, fraud prevention, and service diagnostics.
Providers and security
Firebase and Google Play process data as service providers under their own terms. Zoho Mail processes support and account-deletion email. Data is transferred over encrypted connections and may be cached locally for offline-first operation.
Retention
A completed-deletion marker is retained for 24 hours to block stale requests. Current Cloud Logging security and diagnostic logs are retained for 30 days. Google Play may retain its own purchase records under Google's policy. No additional legal-retention period is claimed here.
Account and data deletion
You can delete a Firebase anonymous (guest) account in the app. Deleting a JaponiGo account linked to Google may require recent Google reauthentication. If you cannot sign in or the action is unavailable, use the public no-login request page.
